This one is for the Dads. Join Block 292 for one delicious Sunday Roast on Father’s Day, June 18, 2017. From 5pm to 8pm, Block 292 sets their tables for guests to dine on the acclaimed Block 292 Sunday Roast supper curated by Executive Chef, Christian Schulz highlighting sustainable meats from in-house Lead Butcher Max, McCarty.
Part butcher shop, part English pub fare, Block 292 Sunday Roast supper is a nod to the famous Sunday Roasts of Great Britain and Ireland. Featuring locally sourced, roasted meats, fresh vegetables, and traditional house made side dishes.
Making this Father’s Day Sunday Roast memorable, Clinton Clegg from the “The Commonheart”, will fill Block 292 with the sweet sounds of rock and soul. The Commonheart features Pittsburgh artists that take rock riffs, gritty vocals and a screaming organ to deliver rock 'n' roll with a heavy blues, soul and gospel influence. Clinton Clegg leads The Commonheart as the powerhouse front man who commands full attention with his limitless onstage energy and vocal range.
With the soulful sounds of Clinton Clegg in the background, guests will be invited to toast to Dad with specials on pitchers of local beers and carafes of wine as they relax in the Block 292 casual sophisticated atmosphere.
“Being a proud Dad myself, I can tell you that what we all really want for Father’s Day is to kick back and relax with our families,” says Block 292 Owner, Brooks Broadhurst. “There’s no better way to celebrate than with live music, great local brews, and classic comfort food.”
The pre-fixe menu will be available for $18 per plate with $12 beer pitchers and $18 wine carafes. Reservations are not required, but are encouraged. To make a reservation visit OpenTable or call (412) 668-2292.
